Ntangeki Nshala is a CPA, has an MBA in Finance and a Ph.D in Business Management from the Open University of Tanzania. His PhD research focused on the impact of Corporate Culture on the Performance of Commercial Banks in Tanzania. He is also a Member of the Institute of Directors in South Africa (IoDSA) and in Tanzania (IoDT).
Dr. Nshala has had hands on corporate leadership experience as a senior executive and as a non-executive Board member. He began his career in 1998 as an Accountant for Milembe Insurance Brokers Limited. In 2001 He joined the Banking Industry in Tanzania and by the time he decided to become self-employed in 2014 he had worked with various Commercial Banks including Habib African Bank Limited, Akiba Commercial Bank Plc, Exim Bank, Barclays Bank and Bank M Tanzania Limited. He mostly served as the Chief Finance Officer and later as the Bank Vice President for Bank M Tanzania Limited. From 2014 to 2020, Dr. Nshala served on the Board of Mwalimu Commercial Bank Plc as a non-executive Director, as a Vice Chairman of the Board and as the Chairman of the Board Audit and Risk Committee.
He is an ardent a Philanthropist and an avid Rotarian. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Dar es Salaam Mzizima since 2003. In his Rotary Club he has served in various leadership roles including as a Club President three times. Beyond his Rotary Club, he has served in District 9214 as an Assistant Governor (2024 – 2025), District Member Attraction Chair (2024 – 2025), Country Membership Chair (2024 – 2025) and Vice Country Chair (2025 – 2026).
